Hello, & welcome to Body Luminous!  My name is Lauren Wales & I am a queer full spectrum doula, a mama to an amazing grown person who was born at home in water, a student midwife & an abdominopelvic & reproductive bodywork specialist, in practice in the field of reproductive care work since 2001.  I currently reside in the greater Orlando, FL area (FL MA 102623), USA, on the unceded occupied homelands of the Seminole and Miccosukee tribes of Florida. 

I offer education tools & bodywork services that are oriented towards growth & change within people, families & communities.  I provide scar tissue remediation for cesarean and top surgery scars, an Advanced Arvigo practitioner for fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, and I offer vaginal and perineal steaming to my clients as part of my work.  I weave together a custom session that meets clients where they are, while also inviting greater awareness & connectedness with our bodies & emotions.  My practice is trauma sensitive, focused on collective liberation & kindness.  I choose to be humbly adaptive to the needs of community & self. I am queer and trans friendly.  My pronouns are she & they.

I am currently located in small collective in Winter Park with other professionals, including homebirth midwives.  I also offer out-call massage for clients in the greater Orlando area.
